Family stay desk
Family Van Trippers
Hotel stays for trips with kids, including resorts that share a building with a casino floor. We care about beds, pools, noise, and whether anyone will still be speaking after checkout.

Stays we would actually take a family to
Most of these are hotel-casinos: Vegas towers, Atlantic City Boardwalk, a Gulf Coast hotel, Auckland city base, highland Genting, Sun City, and Macau polish. We write them as family stays first. Bellagio is the one familiar overlap with other desks.
Fontainebleau Las Vegas
Newer North Strip hotel with room to spread out and pools that keep kids busy.
Circa Resort & Casino
Downtown Vegas energy, a big pool deck, and rooms above the noise if you pick carefully.
Mohegan Sun
Northeast resort weekend with room to roam and plenty on site when the weather turns.
Ocean Casino Resort
Boardwalk hotel with ocean air. Good for short family trips when you want the sea nearby.
Beau Rivage Biloxi
Gulf Coast hotel stay with pool time and a slower pace than the big Strip names.
SkyCity Auckland
Central Auckland tower hotel. Handy city base when the family itinerary includes the harbour.
Sun City Resort
Big resort days with pools and activities. Built for families who want everything on site.
Wynn Palace Macau
Polished Macau resort. Best when the kids are older and you want a dressier stay.
Resorts World Genting
Cool highland air and theme-park bustle. A big resort footprint for a multi-day family stop.
Bellagio Las Vegas
Classic Strip landmark. Great for fountain evenings if your group can handle the crowds.
A lot of big family hotels sit above a gaming floor. We still judge the overnight: beds, pools, and whether the casino noise reaches the rooms you would actually book.
How we judge a family stay
Start with the ages in your group. A toddler trip fails for different reasons than a weekend with teenagers. Room space, pool access, and noise matter more than a famous lobby or a busy casino downstairs.
A few hundred words each. No widgets. No fake scores. If a place is mostly built for adults after dark on the gaming floor, we say so.
Use the cards to shortlist, then read the page before you pay. Ages in your group change the answer more than a famous hotel name does.
How we pick what to write
We start with places families actually book, not every casino resort that buys ads. Then we check room layout, pool access for kids, and whether the lobby-to-room walk is a problem with strollers.
If a stay only works for adults who stay out late, we say so. If mixed ages can still make a day of it with the casino as background, we say that too.
